IMAGINE - DESIGN - CREATE
If you're struggling to imagine your room redesign or are lacking creative inspiration these are the types of design visuals I can provide when we work together to bring your design to life.

DESIGN BOARD
Whether you're starting with a complete blank canvas of a room or wish to incorporate existing furniture and accessories into a new scheme this type of concept board demonstrates the style, colour and overall aesthetic of the proposed makeover.
It's great for suggesting specific styles of furniture, displaying how a new colour will work and showing how everything in the scheme will sit together.

JOINERY DESIGN
Bespoke joinery gives the opportunity to create something completely unique to your home and these examples for a built-in desk and storage area for a young boy were created for the client to gauge their opinion on the required level of storage and the preferred design style.
We worked with skilled local craftspeople to bring quality joinery designs to life.

3D DESIGN
By creating a room in 3D based on the actual dimensions we're able to plan for the right furniture scale and also their positions in the room.
3D designs also show the empty space in the room and flow around the furniture and between different room zones, making 3D designs a crucial part of space planning.

Showing a design visual in a sketch or watercolour format is a more creative way of presenting design ideas before they are fully formed and before actual finishes are chosen.
CONCEPT SKETCH

CONCEPT MATERIALS BOARD
In this example a materials and finishes board was created at the start of the design process to present the client with ideas of proposed colours and materials to bring the scheme alive.
By showing the suggested finishes and colours the client was able to confirm their preferred materials choices before any specific design decisions were made.

ROOM ELEVATIONS
When designing a whole property it often helps to create visuals which show how each room has a common design theme such as the types of finishes proposed or a similar colour scheme for continuity and flow.
Elevations of the main wall spaces such as the main bed wall also help to show placement of art and main furniture items.

FURNITURE & ACCESSORIES BOARD
Once the room design is confirmed then it's time to start researching for the right scale and type of furniture as well as all other elements which will go into the room such as art, rugs and lighting.

RENDERED DESIGN
Using visual rendering software to create more realistic design visuals is extremely useful for if you have difficulty in imaging the finished design.
By making it look as realistic as possible this type of visual is often the last part in the process before we start to make our designs a reality.
